Pre-Tuition Assessments for students in Years 2 - 10
Our enrolment process for students in Years 2 to 10 commences with a comprehensive academic assessment. This serves two purposes - providing information about strengths and challenges for discussion with parents, and to provide the framework for the student's individual program. The program is written each week to address student needs and to reflect emerging patterns of learning.
Students are re-assessed every 15 weeks to measure progress, and results are reported back to parents via an interview process. Parents are most welcome to contact centre staff for feedback at any time during non-tutoring times.
Re-Assessments
Students are re-assessed every 15 weeks to measure progress and to provide the direction for any subsequent tuition.
Interview for Year 11 and 12 students
Students in Years 11 and 12 are required to attend a pre-enrolment interview for about 15 minutes to discuss school goals and proposed tuition topics.
Sessions
Students and their parents can choose from before-school, after-school, or private 1 to 1 sessions. Sessions are of 70 minutes duration, whilst private lessons are of 60 minutes duration. All students work on individual programs especially written for them.
Activities
Students enjoy a range of learning activities including direct instruction by fully qualified and registered teachers, computer drill and practice and games, paper and pencil activities, games, and multi-sensory activities.
We aim to cater for all learning styles, and to develop strong neural connections through a sound understanding of multi-sensory learning.
