SPELD Qld. Inc. is a not for profit organisation of parents, teachers and other professionals who are interested and involved in assisting people with specific learning disabilities and specific learning difficulties. The acronym SLD refers to both of these terms.

Located at Coorparoo, SPELD provides a number of services including referral to Preferred Tutors. Preferred Tutors are those professionals who have had specific training in the needs of students with SLD including those with dyslexia. Jane is a Level 2 SPELD trained Preferred Tutor, and as such is able to provide exceptional support and tuition to these students.
