Duration: This course entails a pre-course component that can be done on our web based interactive learning programme or, if you don't have web access it can be done with a workbook. The face to face practical is then done in 4 - 5 hours.
Outcome: The outcome for this course is to provide participants with the skills and knowledge required to provide first aid response, basic life support and management of the casualty, the incident and other first aid providers, until medical or other assistance arrives
Renewal: Ensure you have the most up to date basic first aid knowledge and skills by attending an apply first aid course every 3 years. We recommended you update your knowledge in cardiopulmonary resuscitation annually.
